For my vacations of fiestas patrias I went to Vicuña, the town where I lived the past 5 years (before coming to Santiago this year). We traveled by bus with my girlfriend, and the prices were pretty high because we left the city on Friday 15th. When we arrived to Vicuña, I felt the difference of the air. While my mother stood in the square of San José de Maipo, we were at 25 km to the east of San José, where we visited a long and dark tunnel (600 meters) and we took pictures of the landscape.  When we came back, we met my mother at the square and took the bus back to Santiago.
